Our client is seeking a CFO to join their team. This is a family owned, private company with a very impressive tenure and culture.
**Top Items Needed:**
+ 10+ years accounting experience
+ 3 + years in Construction or Project-based accounting
+ Degree in Accounting
+ Strong Excel skills
+ Deep understanding of Construction Cost Accounting
+ Organizational and time management skills
+ Adaptability and flexibility
**Duties:**
+ Manage budgets, costs, and profitability for construction projects
+ Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
+ Manage fixed assets including tax/book depreciation
+ Analyze cost variances and forecast profitability
+ Communicating with project managers on job-related topics
+ Prepare monthly financial reports
+ Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports including current-year pro-forma
+ Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements
+ Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation for all accounting activities
+ Maintain compliance with various tax agencies in the US and Canada
+ Reconcile quarterly and annual payroll data and file payroll tax reports
+ Manage reciprocal union Agreements
