We are seeking a software quality engineer where your primary responsibility is to ensure high quality software solutions as a contributing member of a highly motivated team of Engineers. You will make an impact in the market on a hugely visible product line while interacting daily with other team members to ensure that a quality product is delivered in a timely manner.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Responsible for lab management supporting development and quality teamsResponsible for fuel Pump Management and trackingResponsible for interfacing with 3rd party suppliers for orders and repairsResponsible for Lab Network ManagementResponsible for Hardware Inventory managementResponsible for Lab Image ManagementResponsible for hardware diagnostics and RMA processResponsible for Documenting Processes via ConfluenceResponsible for Flashing firmware and ROMsAbility to setup required hardware for test environments including Windows PC, Point-of-Sale terminals, printers, fuel pumps/controllers, pin pads, networking (LAN, WAN, connections to electronic payment networks)Business savvy & technical expertise to follow complex instructions and achieve desired resultsIdentify, communicate & manage escalations regarding deliverablesComplete status reportsOther job related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science & 7+ years related quality assurance experience or 10+ years related business experienceKnowledge of MS Office S/W suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Expert level networking setup/troubleshooting skillsExpert level ability to work independently and as part of a teamExpert level ability to define instructionsExpert level written and verbal communication skillsExpert level in training all levels of team members to become proficient in RPOSHighly Organized and extremely neat and tidyAble to multi-taskFast learner and innovative with the ability to work in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Retail industry and/or Point-of-Sale product knowledgeKnowledge of JiraKnowledge of Ghosting, PXe, VMWare, Virtual BoxAdvanced experience with defect tracking tools including query/report creation
