CFT In-Charge
As an in-charge of CFT, shall be responsible for leading the turnout of the crew. Assessment of the call, determining the line of action to be taken by the unit crew, and implementation of the same to achieve the turn-out objective shall be the key elements of the Role.  Command on R/T communication shall be an essential element of the role during emergencies. Sincerity and alertness displayed in maintaining CFT stand-by. When posted at SFS, he shall be responsible for turning out the required number of SFS appliances based on the nature of the call. Supervise the Serviceability and Inventory check of CFT, record the observations in respective logbooks, and communicate the observations to the Duty Manager. Follow up with concerned agencies for the closure of the snags identified during various checks and inspections. Supervise the Training and lectures conducted in respective shifts. Complete all designated training in the stipulated time. Supervise the Operational Checks of Equipment/Appliances as per schedule. Assist the Duty Manager in maintaining Operational Records and in the preparation of Daily Reports. Maintain Mental and Physical Fitness.  Perform Specific Tasks as and when directed by Duty Manager. Shall be conversant with all relevant SOPs, WI, and Contingency Plans of NMIA. 

Qualification:

10+2/Diploma with valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License.  Basic Firefighting certification from the Aviation Fire Training Centre will be Preferred..

Experience:

8-10 years’ experience of working in Fire Service.
