CFTSS Coordinator Location: Middletown, NY, United StatesDate Posted: Feb 4, 2025 Share: share to e-mail Apply Now Save JobSaved Description OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES : The CFTSS Coordinator is responsible for overall administration of the CFTSS program (60%) including ensuring that CFTSS programming upholds the standards of NYS Office of Mental Health regulatory and reporting requirements, and carrying a small caseload to provide direct services within the scope of Other Licensed Professional. In addition to oversight of CFTSS Services, 40% of this role is dedicated to administration of the Rockland CARE team, including supervision of staff, data collection & reporting, and scheduling/provision of direct services, when necessary. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : + Provide overall administrative oversight of the CFTSS, including supervision of staff, data collection/reporting, documentation review, and ensuring quality measures are met. + Provide direct services within the scope of Other Licensed Professional; including evaluation/assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy. + Managing program referrals and wait lists ensuring that access to services is timely and appropriate to the needs of the youth and families we serve. + Ensures that treatment has a beginning, middle and end phase, including an emphasis on planned termination, beginning with initial assessment. + Ensures that employee caseloads are engaged and active, and that clients are provided the proper visit frequency for current phase of treatment. + Ensures that risk is well assessed and well managed, including behavioral health, physical health and environmental risk factors, this includes: + Systematic assessment with validated measures + Consistent use of the electronic health record to systematically monitor risk management and client outcomes, and + Provision of reports to supervisors to ensure data-driven supervision of risk and progress. + Ensures all services meet or exceed Medicaid and other federal, state and local standards. + Ensures the fiscal sustainability of services, including regular reviews of documentation and billing . + Ensures that staffing is allocated and maintained in a manner that is within parameters of the budget. + Provide overall administration of the Rockland CARE team, including supervision of staff, data collection & reporting, and scheduling/provision of direct services, when necessary. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT: + Collaborates with the other leaders within the agency. + Collaborates with all support programs QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES : + Must be aware of and sensitive to trauma informed care and the cultural needs of the population of focus and how to best meet those needs and be capable of training staff regarding these issues. + Excellent conceptual, analytical and organizational skills. + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills. + Must have a driver’s license and own reliable transportation. + Demonstrated ability to encourage, support and inspire others with honest dialogue and a humanistic and sensitive approach. + Ability to implement, reinforce and assess change, in line with agency continuous quality improvement and business initiatives. + Belief in the passion, vision and value of the organization’s work. + Sound judgment, ethical behavior, and decision-making skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : + Must have the qualifications of at least a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Licensed Psychologist, Physician’s Assistant, Psychiatrist, Physician, Registered Professional Nurse, or Nurse Practitioner operating within the scope of their practice + Must practice within the State of health practice laws and ensure that providers are supervised as required under state law. + Must have at least 2 years of work experience.
