Summary

RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic chain account rep to join our growing team. The Chain Account Rep will maximize the sale of supplier brands to the retail trade and consumers through effective chain account execution. This is achieved by maximizing relationships and maintaining positive interactions and influence with buyers, managers, and other key retail representatives. The Chain Account Rep will ensure effective and positive communication between the retailer and RNDC associates such that company and supplier objectives are met. 

In this role, you will Work directly with buyer on all special projects that will drive category growth and to assist with Ads, Programming, SKU assortment and placement.  Provide standardized business tools and processes, system automation and integrations, Data reporting methodology and validation, sharing of best practices, scorecard results and ability to analyze the above and produce action plan, and understand principles of category management and utilize fact-based approach to product placement and consumer focused marketing plans.  Organize, analyze, and communicate market information.  Define the categories, target specific consumers, plan merchandising efforts, implement strategies and evaluate results using category management principles.  Utilize the principles of category management to produce consumer focused marketing plans that will assist in driving positive business trends, and conduct weekly chain price surveys to find price issues and taking actions to correct, sell concepts and consult with the customer on strategies to enhance both businesses.  Work collaboratively with retailers and suppliers to maintain and develop product knowledge and strategies to assist with presentations and activate account action plans.  Establish and maintain productive supplier and key customer relationships, monitor sales plan and make necessary adjustments to deliver the plan and understand the company’s business objectives, supplier’s brands, and their positioning within the marketplace.  Communicate issues, opportunities, and market intelligence with appropriate management through written, electronic, and verbal means, and maintain up-to-date and accurate records for all assigned accounts (DSD price sheets, cluster changes, store openings/closings, etc.).  What you bring to RNDC

A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university; 2 to 3 years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry; 2 years of customer Intelligence or Chain Merchandising experience; knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information; knowledge of specific products and associated development process and strategy; a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV records; familiarity with syndicated data and BI experience; ability to utilize computer software programs for support in the sales effort (i.e.. Space planning, Salesforce, MicroStrategy, etc.); ability to develop an effective partnership with all assigned accounts; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly; ability to drive a reliable vehicle from account to account.

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at 57,200.00 up to 81,700.00, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
