Summary

RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic chain sales consultant to join our growing team. As a Chain Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for maximizing the sales of a dedicated supplier to retail chain customers. This developmental role gives you the opportunity to learn more about the industry, our products, and our sales techniques – then put those learnings into action to achieve company and supplier program objectives. Chain Sales Consultants are also responsible for performing effective account management, selling, and communicating results. 

In this role, you will Plan time and activities to ensure the achievement of Company and Supplier goals and sales objectives in assigned accounts using monthly, weekly, and daily written plans.   Establish and follow an efficient and economical routing pattern that ensures superior service and merchandise in assigned accounts, follow the established guidelines for a complete sales call, and build and sustain a positive relationship and effective partnership with the decision maker in all assigned accounts.   Gain knowledge of each account’s business operations, then use that knowledge to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling the company’s products to each and have extensive knowledge of the dedicated supplier brands including in-depth features and benefits of each compared to the competition.   Ensure 100% distribution of all authorized SKUs in cold box and on shelf in all assigned accounts and feature price promotions and display merchandising support from the assigned territory chain account buyers.   Communicate issues, opportunities, and market intelligence with appropriate management.  Maintain up-to-date, accurate territory and account records.  Submit accurate reports in a timely manner.  What you bring to RNDC

A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in related field or equivalent experience.

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at $26.45/hr and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
