Champions Sales Director - Remote Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to lead our Champions Sales organization. This role drives an aggressive growth strategy for the Champions brand. You will lead four teams of inside sales, enterprise sales, and PK-12 sales, focusing on acquiring new clients and growing offerings with existing clients. You will help build and develop an outstanding sales organization, improve go-to-market approaches, and ensure the support infrastructure is in place for growth and innovation.

ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 6-10 remote-based sales executives to meet or exceed annual sales goals.Hire, scale, lead, coach, and mentor salespeople across all functions, including account management, acquisition, contract negotiation, and renewals to drive growth.Implement standard processes and procedures with the VP of Sales and Director of Sales Operations throughout the Client Services organization.Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients in the PK-12 space and expand services with current clients.Establish and maintain sales methodologies, forecasts, goals, territory plans, and account tactics aligned with the organization’s growth strategies.Partner with finance, operations, and marketing to ensure operational viability, profitability, and minimize risk while developing winning sales strategies.Attend key conferences and networking opportunities as a company advocate and brand champion.Establish and handle partnerships with school and district leaders, community contacts, and corporate partners to maintain a competitive advantage.Track state and region activity, including competition, policy, and funding changes, and maintain high activity levels to meet Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics).Conduct onsite and web-based presentations, maintaining accurate data and projection management within the company's CRM system. Qualifications: 10+ years of sales experience in PK-12 education, including at least 5 years leading a field team of 5 or more salespeople.Expertise in selling sophisticated solutions, major account sales methodologies, territory planning, and forecast management.Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to make effective presentations to the C-suite, Superintendents, and Boards of Directors.Mentor who can identify, cultivate, and develop sales professionals and teams to deliver results.Expertise with CRM systems.Ability to travel up to 60%.Ability and appetite to lead and engage diverse and equitable teams
