CHANGE CONSULTANT SENIOR WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The purpose of the Change Consultant, Senior is to support the execution of City National Bank's Strategic Priorities through application of the bank's Enterprise Change Enablement & Adoption (ECEA) methodology and tools at the project level including creation and execution of required deliverables and supporting material in partnership with Strategic Change Managers, Change Owners, delivery partners, and related project teams.The primary purpose of this role is planning and delivering strategic and transformational change, which is based on achieving measurable performance improvement and significantly enhancing CNB's function's ability to provide advisory services to business partners, enhancing controls and governance of financial reporting, and to meet regulatory and accounting policy changes.This role is responsible for leading the organizational change management planning and execution for one or more strategic priority projects with day-to-day focus on planning, prioritizing, and delivering change enablement and adoption needs of varying size, complexity and type:At the direction of a Strategic Change Manager, partner with Change Owners and Project Management Office resources to understand the nature, magnitude, and timing of changes to design and execute necessary change enablement and adoption strategies, tactics, and deliverables to support successful project deliveryAssess the scope and impact of the change and make recommendations to improve delivery capability by leveraging City National Bank's Enterprise Change Enablement & Adoption methodology and toolsResponsible for the creation and implementation of change enablement and adoption strategies for one or more projects focusing on the people side of change to drive faster adoption, higher utilization, and greater proficiency of the changes that impact colleagues and clientsResponsible for all phases of change enablement and adoption delivery from change vision and contributing to strategy development, organizational and cultural alignment, planning, execution and transition to BAU. What you will do Change Enablement & Adoption Delivery for City National Bank At the direction of a Strategic Change Manager, acts as change enabler and drives one or more change initiatives across the bank identified as strategic priorities and provide guidance and support to related project teams. Partners with Change Owners and project teams to drive and support implementation and adoption of our most important strategic priorities and key initiatives, as well as deliver an organizational culture of service excellence, efficiency, effort, collaboration, and enterprise. Partners with leaders to enable the human side of transformation, ensuring people adopt the changes needed to promote the long-term success of our business. Collaborates with Strategic Change Manager and Change Owners to understand business strategy around assigned projects, and own responsibility for the development, support and execution of organizational change management strategies and processes for defined projects related to the company's aims & objectives. Ensures effective and consistent implementation of change projects, support on-going improvement efforts of project management and implementation discipline. Ensures alignment with the bank’s Enterprise Change Risk Management policy and Enterprise Change Management Office Procedure Drives business value through effective ECEA processes and tools Builds strong, collaborative relationships with Change Owners and delivery partners. Change Enablement Capability Adoption for City National Bank Drives forward the ECEA goal to enable the organization to consistently apply common change management processes and tools, ensure all colleagues have the individual competency to lead change and have that reflected in their performance expectations and to ensure the application of change management is developed as a strategic capability with ECEA tools and methodology embedded in all large-scale programs. Serves as an active and visible coach to business partners, to model change leadership behavior, enablement, and integration into City National Bank change transformation delivery in alignment with the Enterprise Change Management Office procedure and Enterprise Change Risk Management Policy. Must-Have* Associate's Degree or equivalent 7+ years of progressive relevant experience leading medium organizational change management projects with a high level of value (benefit/cost), and moderate to high level of complexity and uncertainty Experience managing moderate to small to moderate cross-enterprise programs/projects, programs/projects with third party vendors and programs/projects with significant technical and/or regulatory component Previous experience working in a consulting, project/program management and/or organizational change management function, within Financial Services Industry Strong knowledge of program and project plan development & management, scheduling methodology, waterfall, agile and iterative methodologies, program and project metrics, analysis, and status reporting Skills and Knowledge Bachelor degree background preferred CCMP, Prosci or other change management related certification preferred Microsoft Office proficiency - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Organizational Change Management Project management Impact and Influence Leadership Dealing with Ambiguity Organizational Awareness Resourceful Use of Others Financial – Leverages understanding of business and financial concepts Analytical and Conceptual Thinking Stakeholder Management Teamwork and Cooperation Achievement Orientation Compensation Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
