Our client requires a Change Management Specialist to works with the program management team, ministries, and/or leadership to assess, create strategies, map, and develop content to effectively analyze and execute a significant or difficult change initiative for procurement transformation. This transformation will require engagement/consultation, analysis, identification of risks, and developing various options to successfully transition target stakeholders from identified current states to a future state.
Work is onsite. Standard Hours of work are 8:15am to 4:30pm Alberta time, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Collaborate with sponsors, operational, and cross-functional teams for change management assessments. Work with Program Manager and Senior management on project schedules, resource estimates, and work plans. Contribute to risk and issues management strategies. Engage key stakeholders and develop a stakeholder analysis. Conduct change impact/readiness analyses and create a resistance management plan. Develop and implement change strategies, including communication, schedule, and training plans. Collaborate with managers and senior leadership on change plan status and issues. Communicate information to stakeholders and facilitate Represent the Ministry/Program area and build client/stakeholder relationships. Develop KPIs to measure adoption success and monitor change progress Mandatory Requirements Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience and education (g. Certificate in Project Management) 5 years’ experience conducting change impact analysis. 5 years’ experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization. (eg. Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users) 5 years’ experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans. 5 years’ experience in a change management role – applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools for implementing change programs 5 years’ experience with current methodologies and design thinking, especially in relation to improving service experience. Desirable Requirements Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification 3 years’ experience developing readiness programs, training or stakeholder engagement. 3 years’ experience in public sector procurement processes within a large and complex public sector 3 years’ experience using ERP systems such as SAP 3 years’ experience working in or for the public sector.Job Posting ID: 55966
