We are looking to hire an Change Manager immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:

 

Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Global Organizational Effectiveness (OE), this position partners with HR and Technology leaders across the enterprise to drive and support our most important strategic priorities and key initiatives, as well as deliver an organizational culture of focus, connectedness, and results.   This role is a key member the OE and Change team that supports activities such as large-scale change and program management, operating model design, organizational readiness, integration and change strategy, and implementation of initiatives.

 

This role will focus on one or more of the following in their execution of initiatives: change strategy and management, project management, organizational readiness & integration, leadership alignment, and operating model design.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Change Management of portfolio projects: Guide the development and implementation of comprehensive change plans that enable transition from the current state to a future state, with intended business benefits. Address business needs through implementing change management strategies and plans that minimize stakeholder resistance and maximize employee adoption.  Project Management of portfolio projects: Supports the team by ensure coordination, organization, and execution of team through the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure Organizational assessment: Ownership of stakeholder mapping and analysis, organizational change readiness, and quantitative and qualitative organizational assessments to drive speed of adoption, greater utilization and/or performance.  Effectively balances issues, risks, and execution strategies to deliver complex portfolios successfully and monitors deployment of resources and workloads to meet portfolio objectives and business readiness. Improve organizational dynamics: Identify patterns of behavior in organizations and develop solutions to increase their effectiveness during transformation change initiatives. Could include consultation and design of standards, tools, and processes. Engage and liaison with global HR COEs, participate on special projects or improvement teams as business needs exists, collaborate, and share insights. Cultural shaping: Utilize methodologies to identify opportunities to strengthen culture by changing thinking, behavior, systems, structure, processes. Identifies the people, process, and systems capabilities required to move initiatives forward.  Assesses, selects, and tailors the appropriate tools required to meet the needs and objectives for each initiative. Participants in the global design, implementation, and capability building of standards, tools and processes that enable enterprise readiness & integration, change management, and operating model design.

 

Position Requirements:

 

Bachelors or equivalent 7+ years of experience working in roles of Change Management, Project Management, Transformation Management, and/or HR or Business leadership Project and Change Management experience leading mid to large scale change initiatives Expertise in managing stakeholder expectations, including key senior business stakeholders Leadership skills, presence and credibility, strong judgment, business instincts and high level of influence and professionalism  Strong business acumen/savvy and understanding of cross-functional stakeholder needs Ability to articulate the case effectively and clearly for organizational readiness & integration, change strategy and operating model to stakeholders across multiple levels Ability to build credibility and trust with key decision makers and be regarded as an expert advisor Ability to influence decision making senior stakeholders and ability to negotiate/present to various stakeholder groups Able to work both strategically and hands-on to deliver results. Influence without direct authority, diplomacy, and tact, can build meaningful relationships Proven ability to resolve problems by applying technical experience and expertise to review precedents identify potential solutions and select the best and most viable course of action

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

PROSCI certification preferred. Working knowledge of Supply Chain and manufacturing

Base Salary: $103,520 - $181,150


Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
