Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. **The team you will be a part of** The Channel Demand Planning team within the Sales Strategy & Operations team, is responsible for forecasting Sales Channel specific point of sale (POS) for major domestic appliance (MDA) units with the aim to maximize Channel sales and drive inventory efficiency. This team is responsible for leading the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) process with our trade customers in order to meet trade customer delivery expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of trade customer point of sale data vs trade customer orders, in partnership with Supply Chain Category Demand Planning and Category Merchandising teams. **This role in summary** This position is responsible for leading the CPFR process for The Home Depot (THD) which includes identifying & measuring order and sell-through patterns, promotional inventory planning, providing replenishment recommendations based on data . The Home Depot is the largest home improvement retailer in the industry and a growing channel within Whirlpool. A successful Demand Planning Manager has a complete understanding of all nodal connections of a demand cycle, and the ability to coordinate with key process partners across the organization. To do this, on a monthly cycle you will coordinate with The Home Depot, Merchandising, and Sales managers in the complete translation of a promotional plan into a sales forecast. This role will also be required to lead strategic projects and perform analyses to drive forecast and channel inventory level accuracy and improve customer satisfaction. **Your responsibilities will include** + Act as a liaison between The Home Depot planning team and Whirlpool internal functions such as but not limited to sales, category demand planning, and merchandising. + Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual THD point of sale (POS) forecast within the Business Planning Tool System + Ownership of POS forecast building blocks and assumptions to confidently review and assess forecast output with process partners + Gather and assemble large amounts of data from multiple sources and perform detailed analyses to drive improvement + Lead strategic projects and consult on the best approach on issues with alternative solutions + Identify the root cause of issues and put steps in place for resolution + Address escalated issues and concerns from process partners + Multi-task with various responsibilities, while being accountable for results in a fast-paced environment **Minimum requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, logistics, sales, business management or related field + 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Business + 2+ years of experience In Demand Planning **Preferred skills and experiences** + Knowledge related to S&OP processes + Proven proficiency in data mining, forecasting, and forecasting methods, with an understanding of financial and operational impacts on process partners + Understanding of general marketing environment and impacts of competitive activities, including a general understanding of appliance industry and the activities that impact the forecast + A proven leader, a record of building teams, strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and process focused communication skills + Knowledge of SAP/APO/Anaplan and other software related to demand planning **What we offer** Generous benefits package (https://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/work-with-us-ca-experienced/) , Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
