How you will make history here...

This role plays a key part in the development of commercial strategy for Club customers. In collaboration with your category cross functional partners and field sales team you will lead, support, set and execute commercial excellence to accelerate growth within Soup, Meals & Sauces and Specialty business units.

What you will do...

Customer Focus: Club (Costco, Sam’s and Bj’s)

Category focus: Soup (+Rao’s) Meals & Sauces and Specialty

Develop and support best in class strategies and plans by partnering closely with field sales, sales strategy and brand to deliver business needs

Working closely with field sales to have ongoing knowledge of customers and customer plans to deliver key business objectives

Cross Functional collaboration

Serve as conduit between separate business units within internal and customer organizations, enabling seamless communication and breaking down silos to enable best in class collaboration

Significant partnership across multiple teams to establish a growth platform, identify business opportunities, set and communicate priorities and coordinate with appropriate resources to achieve the desired results

Improve processes and procedures and efficiencies related to customer business, supply chain and service by working cross functionally with other business units

Project Management

Execute, manage and drive visibility to projects through the commercialization process

Drive management of and implementation of innovation through commercialization activities

Effectively providing timely updates on key milestones and business critical deliverables to all cross functional teams involved

Business insights

Proactively track, analyze and make strategic and tactical recommendations to all stakeholders with buy in from Sales Strategy and Brand

Provide perspective and solutions to teams based on learnings from both competitive intel and customer feedback

Contribute to forecasting and AOP process and engage in IBP meetings

Develop, implement and optimize promotional plans, utilization of trade, marketing development funds and merchandising ideas and ensure execution for channels

What you bring to the table...

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree

Years of relevant experience: 8+ years' experience in the CPG industry.

Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple layers of stakeholders

Must possess excellent problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mentality

Strong analytical thinking and analysis capability 

Ability to pull/use and read syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen)

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Ability to penetrate and conduct meetings at high levels

Category & Brand knowledge preferred

Project management or innovation commercialization preferred 

P&L management experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$107,000-$153,900

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
