The HPE Data Services Business Unit is responsible for providing advanced data management solutions to businesses. the BU is crucial in helping organizations make the most of their data, improving operational efficiency and gaining competitive advantages. HPE Data Services' strategy is focused on transforming businesses into data-driven organizations. This involves adopting technologies and processes that allow businesses to collect, analyze and use data more efficiently. HPE promotes an edge-to-cloud strategy, which allows companies to manage data and applications wherever they are located. The scope is to provide a unified platform that integrates public cloud, private cloud and edge computing, allowing seamless data management across these environments.
What you’ll do:
Participate in deep-dive discussions and gathers information about customer technical needs and assesses customer's current IT infrastructure and translates the technical view into the implementation view to architect an overall technical solution. Additionally, define technical alternatives and possible shortcomings to the proposed solution.Collaborate with account teams and other company organizations in developing and communicating key value propositions and negotiation points for a specific product set and technology.Deliver compelling and convincing presentations addressing specific requirements and expectations; effectively link the technical features and functions of company´s solutions with tangible business benefits that meet customer challenges.Protect and expand HPE's footprint with the customer by leveraging new technologies, upgrades, and refreshes to the company's installed base. Develop strategies to counter likely competitive threats.Responsible for pipeline information to be updated and accurately reflect the area of responsibility to ensure nurturing of all deals and constant movement of opportunities to close.Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the technical solution design and identifying related training needs.What you’ll need:
You will have earned a Master’s degree with a focus on information systems, engineering, computer science, economics, AI, or a related field of study prior to your start date. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, leveraging advanced functions to transform data into actionable insights that drive business objectivesYou can work with numbers and understand connections in data to showcase analytical and data interpretation skillsAnticipates challenges before they arise, allowing for pre-emptive solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiencySkilled at setting and achieving long-term goals with precision and foresightConsistently delivers results that exceed expectationsYou are collaborative, solution focused and act with a sense of urgency You embrace new ideas and fresh thinking and seek out ideas different than your own Demonstrates strong leadership skills through initiatives that foster community growth and create meaningful changeYou are an exceptional communicator and presenter who asks smart questions You are fully comfortable working in a hybrid (virtual and face-to-face) environment You are native in Italian and fluent in EnglishPrevious internship experience and experienced-based industry certifications would be considered as a plusWhat we’d prefer you bring:
