The Role & Team:
The Channel Sales Specialist Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enable and empower our sellers to effectively sell and support our products and services via the channel. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, product teams, operations, and channel teams to ensure alignment to maximize channel partner success. This role will be responsible for the direct management and growth of several existing partners.
Your day-to-day
Develop and implement enablement strategies for both channel and salesCollaborate with sales enablement, channel programs, and channel management to create training programs and materialsWork closely with channel partners and channel management to identify their needs and provide tailored supportMonitor and analyze channel performance metrics to identify areas for improvement to existing programs and sales approachWork closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment in development and execution of channel salesDevelop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate partners on new products, services, and market trendDevelop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate our sellers on channel strategy and executionIdentify and codify best practicesMaintain product expertise and awareness of the competitive landscapeDirectly manage 2-3 partners driving business in a specific product setFully support partner sales from deal registration to order entryDrive a proactive stance for customer acquisition and managementWhat you bring to the team
Strong cross-functional leadership and excellent communications skills to drive consensus across those groups internally and within the partner organizationsPublic Sector sales experience highly preferable particularly knowledge of contract vehicles. Will provide National coverageExcellent communication and presentation skillsSales forecasting and reporting backgroundAnalytical mindset with experience in performance metrics analysisUsing the results of that analysis to develop and implement solutionsPrefer candidates based in Sunnyvale, CA, Draper, UT or Pittsburg, PA.#LI-JD1
