Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope in an effective manner to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors and Drive Products Division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids for Channel partners, ensuring technical and financial accuracy•\tWorking with the wider sales team (World Class Operation) to identify and develop new market opportunities.•\tImplementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.•\tCreating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.•\tReporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.•\tConducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role\tYou have 2+ years of experience in in sales, if it was in electric motors and variable frequency drives is a plus.\tYou have experience preparing monthly sales reports and developing business plans for distribution channels.\tAbility to demonstrate technical knowledge of motors and drives is desirable.\tA proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.\tYou are easy to communicate in English in an intermediate level.\tBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, mechatronic, communications and electronic engineering, or related.
