Master’s Degree with a major emphasis in Religion or Theology or Divinity required. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an accredited Clinical Pastoral Education program required. Professional knowledge of ethical/ moral matters as well. Board certification by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, the Association of Professional Chaplains, or the National Association of Jewish Chaplains is preferred at time of application. Board certification is required within 18 months of hire. Experience in ministry to the sick, preferably in a hospital setting.
