Chaplain | Hospice

Are you passionate about providing spiritual care and support during some of life's most challenging times? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Chaplain to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in offering spiritual and emotional support to our hospice patients and their families, guiding them through their journey with dignity and peace. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will also assist in assessing the bereavement needs of hospice families and providing follow up bereavement support, you will care for clients of all ages and cover hospice teams from St. Cloud, Little Falls, Foley, Sauk Rapids and surrounding communities in private homes as well as facilities.  

Schedule Full-time | Salaried position working 80 hours every two weeks   Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | No weekends or holidays  Rare evening hours for annual hospice memorial services etc.
  Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $55,310.74 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience  Salary range: $55,310.74 - $82,944.73 per year  Salary and salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate  Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!  Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available  
  Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in theology, counseling, pastoral ministry, psychology and/or sociology  Four units of clinical pastoral education preferred or two units of CPE with completion of two additional units of CPE within two years of employment  Experience of at least one year in ministering to the spiritual/emotional needs of the sick, i.e., visiting, praying with, and supporting them in their belief system/religious practices  A valid Minnesota driver’s license with access to a vehicle for work, a driving record in good standing and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage  Experience working with terminally ill preferred Member of National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) or College of Chaplains (COC) certification preferred
