**Job Type:** Regular **Time Type:** Full time **Work Shift:** Day (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.** **Job Description:** Provides for the emotional and spiritual support of the patients, their loved ones, and colleagues as a member of the Spiritual Care and Education Department. This position will require flexible coverage, depending on needs, for both Beverly Hospital, Beverly MA, and Addison Gilbert Hospital, fifteen minutes north of Beverly in Gloucester MA. Mileage for travel between hospitals will be included. This care and collaboration extends to colleagues throughout the organization, community clergy, and the community at large. + Provides spiritual, emotional, and religious support for patients, their loved ones, and colleagues; is able to function as an interfaith spiritual care provider in the acute health care setting, comfortable providing appropriate spiritual support regardless of religious affiliation or absence of religious affiliation. + Is familiar with spiritual assessment tools in the acute health care setting, and is familiar with and able to document a spiritual care visit in the progress notes of the electronic medical record. + Serves on hospital committees, attends multidisciplinary rounds, and collaborates with inter-professional team members on overall spiritual care and education department purpose and function. + Assists with creating, promoting, and facilitating wellness and resilience programs for colleagues. + Assists, as appropriate, with educational programs, services, and other creative ways we care for the spiritual, emotional, and religious needs of patients and colleagues + Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team, area clergy / community leaders, and hospital volunteers as needed to support patient care. **_Scheduled Hours_** Schedule will be determined with Director of Spiritual Care and Education **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
