Job Description
The Hospice Chaplain is responsible for the provision of spiritual care services to patients and families/caregivers of St. Croix Hospice, either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors.
+ You will develop an individualized plan of care by participating in the comprehensive assessment to meet identified spiritual needs.
+ You will provide direct spiritual care to patients and families/caregivers.
+ You will assists the Director of Bereavement in maintaining a bereavement program to meet the needs of families/caregivers for 13 months following the death of a patient to ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CHAP regulatory requirements.
+ Traveling throughout the day and some after-hours

Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies, theology, or religious studies or equivalent theology degree preferred. Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (MDIV, MTS, ThM or equivalent theological degree) preferred. Demonstrated theological coursework required.
+ If no degree, must have 5-7 years of experience in a formal ministerial setting required.
+ One or more unit(s) of Clinical Pastoral Education preferred.
+ Ability to pass DHS background study.
+ If Driving: Valid State Driver’s License, automobile in good working order, automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record required.
The starting salary range for this role is $56,000-$73,000 annual base salary. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
