The individual participates in educational programs and organizational committees related to the Chaplains area of ministry and acts as a resource for physicians, staff, volunteers and the larger faith community. The Chaplain Associate helps promote and maintain an atmosphere of quality patient‐centered care by providing a personal presence, pastoral ministry and in‐service education. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** A Bachelor’s degree in a theological, ministerial or related field. Must have at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Endorsement by Professional Chaplain Organization and/or Denominational Representative. **Preferred/Optional:** None **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** Successful completion of clinicals as required by one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. **Preferred/Optional:** None **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
