The Chaplain - Catholic Priest is a full clinical member of the health care team in Spiritual Care issues, providing services for the pastoral/spiritual needs and education of patients, families, team members.

Responsibilities include:

Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members.Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.Catholic Priest chaplains must have Faculty for Sacraments from the Local Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Diocese/Archdiocese.

Certification:

Preferred NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains)or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains)or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains)

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related. 400 hours, 1unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Required - Ecclesiastical endorsement
