Overview
The Director – RCM is responsible for managing all RCM related functions including, but not limited to, proper coding and billing of accounts, collections of receivables, cash posting, authorizations, and pre-authorizations. The incumbent leads and plans the revenue cycle operations for all staff in the RCM department. Designs, establishes, implements, and enforces billing and collections policies and procedures, as well as streamlining and creating effective billing and collections processes across multiple provider types, groups, and business entities with the highest levels of integrity and efficiency. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and assist in the direction and execution of the department’s set goals and business strategies.
**This role will require travel periodically to USAP office locations.***

Job Highlights
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)
Runs and analyzes a productivity analysis (WD, KAV, CB,etc.).Supports patient engagement programs to drive collections and improve the patient billing experience.Implements new technologies and workflows to ensure compliance with surprise medical billing legislation and patient estimates.Manages the operational metrics, communication, and reporting for external outsourcing clients.Manages early out vendor performance and relationships to drive patient collections.Implements new custom applications for payment processing and secure IVR credit card processing.Builds and operates an onshore and offshore dashboard regarding QA and productivity.Assists in formulating process for automating quarterly bonuses by adding attendance to the dashboard.Creates KPI dashboard as well as OEI reporting dashboard.Evaluates NCR actual and their forecasts (future state).Prepares cash flow forecasting for treasury and finance.Develops monthly reporting packages.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
10+ years of experience in billing/collections/coding experience required.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or relevant field required.10+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred.Proficient at team management.SQL and Power BI Certified.Knowledge of RCM billing and collections systems preferred.Basic visual skillset.Proactive, creative, and efficient in identifying issues, understanding, and proposing solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types and communicate professionally with all levels of management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
