Provides care to patient populations with complex health issues and serves as a clinical resource to nursing staff. Analyzes and anticipates less predictable outcomes of nursing interventions._** **_Primary responsibilities include clinical practice, management, and education. Addresses issues in the standards of care._** **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Assists with Performance Improvement projects and makes suggestions where opportunity for improvement is identified. + Assists with staff development (new employee orientation, staff training, in-services) and developing competencies. + Attends all mandatory hospital in-services and required staff meetings. + Communicates with Supervisor on all departmental issues including but not limited to assisting with staff meeting agenda and discussions, staff competencies and progress, and physician requests and complaints. + Communicates with physicians and staff to assist supervisor with scheduling, patient placement and pre/post procedures. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. + Previous Charge Nurse experience. + Minimum of two (2) years Cardiac Cath Lab or Cath Lab Recovery experience. + Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support + Basic Life Support + State of Florida License in Registered Nurse This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
