Description

The Charge Nurse will play a critical role in delivering professional and high-quality care for the Coca-Cola Corporate Clinic. The Charge Nurse will assist in providing tailored care for VIP level, corporate patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The Charge RN will demonstrate success in supervising clinical teams and complex operations. Show strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving abilities. Deliver concierge-level care, ensuring personalized treatment and attention to detail.

 

Shift will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.  

 

Responsibilities

 

Experience:

Clinical Support:

Perform vital signs, health assessments, lab draws and pre-screening procedures. Adept at creative problem-solving, negotiating conflict, and collaborating with others. Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinically sound risk-taking. Role models expert communication skills to colleagues through example. Demonstrates foresight regarding the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes based on intuition and experience. Is recognized as an expert clinician and a leader within their area of specialty.Provides and coordinates the resources needed within the clinic to provide optimal patient outcomes. Role models time management skills through example. Ensures compliance and adherence with stated policies and procedures for the clinic. Remains informed of innovative clinical trends through bench marking and evidence based practice. Functions as charge nurse. Role models delegation skills to colleagues and assist them in effective delegation utilizing the Synergy model for care. Considered an expert and is viewed as a formal leader. Mentors other Registered Nurses to the role and functions of Charge Nurse. Evaluates the use of resources and cost containment activities. Leads and coordinates team behavior between staff members and actively fosters the development of leadership skills in others. Exhibits desire to hear and understand another's point of view. Demonstrates and role models effective communication skills. Takes a leadership role in building and maintaining an environment which fosters open and candid communication. Serves as an arbitrator in resolution of conflicts between nursing staff. Takes appropriate action to correct unacceptable communication/behavior as needed. Identifies one managerial problem and initiates test of change. Actively participates in preparation of regulatory agency reviews. Assists in administrative activities such as identifying means of cost containment, coordinating clinic staffing schedules, and ensuring communication regarding areas of concern to the Assistant Director.Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff concerning policies, scheduling, assignments, organizational skills and daily operations. Evaluates the impact of policies on daily operations. Supports administrative decisions and facilitates daily operational issues with the staff.

 

Patient Care Coordination:

Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and support staff.Ensure all follow-up appointments, labs, and referrals are scheduled promptly.Work alongside the case manager to fulfill duties such as allergy injections, responding to emergencies on the campus, completing worker’s comp claims, coordinating post-offer physicals and drug screen tests, triaging and completing incident reports

 

Documentation:

Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.

 

Patient Education:

Provide clear and concise explanations regarding procedures and health management plans as directed by the provider. Support patients with health literacy and empower them with actionable wellness strategies.

 

Professionalism:

Deliver VIP-level service to all patients, ensuring their time is respected. Uphold the highest standards of discretion and patient privacy.Foster a welcoming and private environment for corporate clients.Deliver concierge-level care, ensuring personalized treatment and attention to detail. Address patient concerns with professionalism and discretion.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.  BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.  Exceptions: Individuals currently employed as an LPN within the EHC system at the time of completion of an accredited RN program and becoming licensed as a RN will be considered eligible to move to the Nurse Clinician title while matriculating through the Resident program.
