Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing:

Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident careCommunicates with all health care providers and partnersCoordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the residentDocuments resident status / care / services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive mannerResponsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and proceduresFollows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN licenseExperience in skilled nursing / long term care (LTC) preferredKnowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public SafetyIf licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge / supervisory capacityMust have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English languagePer the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 2nd Shift, Flexible Scheduling

Wage Range*: $35.00/hr-$44.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Base Wage: $37.00/hr (RN) and $30.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

2nd Shift Differential: $5.00/hr

Weekend Differential: $1.00/hr
