**Overview**
CHI Health Immanuel located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street offers a full-service hospital cancer center rehabilitation center specialty spine hospital and more. **Responsibilities**

**Leadership**
+ Function as a mentor and coach.
+ Assist with preparation of unit schedules, including mandatory education scheduling.
+ Establish daily work plans for the team.
+ Guide peer interviewing process in the selection of unit staff.
+ Provide input and feedback to the nurse manager in regards to team performance management.
+ Conduct on the job training and education.
+ Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to standards.
+ Maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory standards through rounding.
**Fiscal Management**
+ Assist in development and achievement of departmental budgets and goals.
+ Assist with payroll activities such as monitoring timekeeping.
+ Manage material and supply usage.
**Clinical Competence**
+ Maintain thorough knowledge and competence in areas of management and clinical practice.
+ Participate in educational programs to enhance clinical/management experience.
+ Serve as a clinical resource in an area of specialty.
+ Role model clinical and professional excellence.
**Qualifications**
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
**Ideal Candidates Will Have**
+ A bachelor’s degree in nursing
+ At least three years of supervisory experience
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Proven ability to delegate, lead teams, think critically, resolve conflict, and manage time/workloads.

**Pay Range**
$36.94 - $53.56 /hour
