Job Description Summary:

Responsible for stocking, exchanging, controlling, and maintaining Adult CPR carts, Braslow Pediatric Crash carts, Latex Free carts, Urology carts, Procedure carts, Isolation carts, Code D carts, Nutrition cart, Supply carts. Assist with answering the phone, taking messages, and orders for supplies. Responsible for assisting with the inventory of supply items and Braslow supplies. Under the direct supervision of the Central Stores West Supervisor. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist with inventory of supplies for stockroom and Braslow supplies for Pediatric Crash carts.Makes 2 rounds per day to check and stock Isolation carts.First-round at 8:00 am and second round at 3:30 pm.Receives calls for Central Stores West supplies and notifies the appropriate CS Technician of the request and location.Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.Maintains contact with nursing concerning Adult CPR carts, Braslow Pediatric Crash carts, Latex Free carts, Urology carts, Procedure carts, Isolation carts 7.Assist with stocking supply carts in nursing units.Assist when needed in the operation of the department.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and Inventory Management Software. A high school graduate or equivalent is required.  

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:

N/A  

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures. 3-4 months of orientation and on the job training.
