Job Description
The Chargeback Analyst is a key member of the Finance Team and will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the chargeback process. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical chargebacks, a meticulous approach to data analysis, and strong collection skills.
Responsibilities
+ Process chargeback credits through Icontracts (in conjunction with SAP).
+ Have in-depth knowledge of the validation process ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
+ Evaluate and process customer chargeback submissions, addressing discrepancies in customer, contract, or pricing information.
+ Maintain target performance goals related to the disposition of chargebacks to drive a quality customer experience and reduce risk of financial leakage.
+ Collaborate with customers to resolve chargeback disputes in alignment with contractual agreements.
+ Drive effective communication related to contract changes to support accuracy in the chargeback submission process.
+ Perform periodic audits to ensure accuracy and eligibility of the data.
+ Conduct weekly chargeback reconciliations, ensuring alignment between Icontracts and SAP.
+ Reconcile chargeback deductions and facilitate denial collections for efficient resolution.
+ Understand customer contract terms and conditions related to chargeback submissions to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
+ Proactively audit and review chargebacks for corrections, minimizing errors.
+ Support development team and implementation team on EDI transactions, ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.
Essential Skills
+ Chargeback processing and deduction management.
+ Finance and data analysis experience.
+ Pharmaceutical industry experience.
+ Knowledge of SAP and Icontracts.
+ Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
+ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to error prevention and correction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
+ 2-3 years of related business experience.
+ Experience in contracting, chargeback adjudication within the pharmaceutical industry.
+ Experience with EDI transactions.
Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and revolves around the research, development, manufacture, and marketing of generic and value-added medicines (VAMs) that contribute to improving people’s health. The team aims to offer VAMs in Europe and the US, as well as distributing to more than 60 countries through strategic alliances to reach the greatest number of patients around the world
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
