First Student, Inc., is looking for an Electric Vehicle Charging Specialist to support the electrification of its fleet. The Charging Specialist will ensure that the company's strategic and tactical objectives for electrification are met. This role (Electric Vehicle Sector) will join the growing Electrification team at First Student and report to the Director of Charging.
• Assist in the implementation of the development plan for the bus fleet electrification project and analyze performance measures against key milestones.
• Assist in achieving the development plan objectives by coordinating its specific activities and monitoring its progress with all the teams involved.
• Drive planning and project execution by coordinating data between utilities, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate the scheduling of resources to aid in timely implementation across the program.
• Coordinate the execution of project tasks with the First Student EV team, both internal and external.
• A bachelor's degree and a background in data systems management and analysis.
• English, both oral and written is a must.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in data systems and resource coordination.
• Corporate experience supporting projects.
• A working knowledge of the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure space, general charging site design, and utilities is a plus.
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
• The ability to work in a culturally diverse organization with a matrix management foundation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and PowerBi is necessary.
