ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
The Food Server serves meals to guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. Take food & beverage orders from restaurant customers. Input orders in to POS system. Deliver orders following required standards for the position. Prepare tableside items as requested by customer; anticipate guest’s needs. Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc. Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations. Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant. Explain menu to the guests. Always check on quality of food and service. Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Food service experience in or related experience a plus. Knowledge of wine. Cocktail experience preferred. Strong communication skills using the English language required. AES card required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
