Job Description Faststream is currently seeking a dry bulk Chartering Manager/Broker to join a dynamic shipping organisation at their Rotterdam office.

Role Overview:
Location: The Netherlands
Focus: Leading and executing bulk carrier chartering operations to successfully secure contracts and grow the dry bulk business.

Key Responsibilities: Chartering: Successfully conclude voyage charters, trip time charters, period charters, and industrial contracts, including contracts of affreightment. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, operators, brokers, and agents to match cargoes with vessels and grow the business. Negotiation: Negotiate voyage and time charter party agreements Client Engagement: Visit key stakeholders, including owners, charterers, operators, brokers, and agents, to build and strengthen professional relationships. Skills & Competencies: Education: University degree in Logistics, Shipping, or a related field. Experience: Strong experience in dry bulk chartering, with a proven track record in fixture handling and an existing client portfolio. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with maritime business software, such as AXSmarine. Communication: Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Travel: Willingness to travel regionally and internationally. Work Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in the Netherlands.
