ResponsibilitiesChassis Mechanic and Container Repair
Conducts routine/scheduled maintenance on railroad leased/owned containers and chassisRepairs equipment in accordance with railroad, IEP, manufacturer & FMCSA guidelinesDocuments repairs according to an established reporting system, verbally and in writingRepairs tires, brakes, lights, landing leg and frameworkPerforms light welding when requiredOther duties as assignWe offer:

QualificationsQualifications
Minimum of 1-year verifiable mechanic experience in ANY industryMinimum of 1-year verifiable experience working on 50lbs commercial tires.Minimum of 1-year verifiable experience working Automotive Electrical wiringAbility to lift more than 50lbsOpen availability (Nights, Weekends, & Holidays)Willingness to work in varying weather conditionsMust have basic set of hand toolsValid Driver’s LicensePlease note: All positions require pre-employment background verification, physical review, and pre-employment drug screen. The Federal Railroad Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited.
