One of Ebenezer’s newest managed properties and destined to be one of West St. Paul’s premier senior living communities, we offer both Assisted Living and Memory Care. We are conveniently located near Interstate 494 and Highway 52 and public transportation in West St. Paul, MN

Cook/Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standards of high quality care. Ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and resident expectations.. Will plate food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Assisted Living Community located in West St. Paul, MN.  

 

This Cook position includes:

80 hours per two weeksDay/Evening shift Includes Every other weekend and possible Holiday rotationFull Benefits Package; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (paid personal time, medical, dental, college funds, wellness program, matching retirement monies) Responsibilities/Job Description Ensuring that meals are served and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectationsPreparation of meals, line service, clean-upAssisting Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff Qualifications

High volume cooking experience in a similar environment required
Scratch cooking experience preferred
One to three years related experience
ServSafe certification preferred, but will assist in obtaining
