The Role

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our Edge Brasserie & Cocktail Bar kitchen team and take our culinary offerings to the next level.

Capturing the timeless elegance of French brasseries, EDGE brings quintessential French classics to life with signature dishes such as Onion Soup, Beef Wellington, and Dover Sole Meunière—a love letter to France and a celebration of Miami’s vibrant energy.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team to consistently produce high-quality dishes.Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.Develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative concepts.Manage inventory, ordering, and controlling food costs to meet budgetary goals.Ensure consistent presentation and taste of all dishes served.Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure seamless communication during service.Handle special dietary requests and customize menus as needed for guests.Stay updated on current culinary trends, techniques, and industry developments.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.Experience with Peruvian cuisine is preferred.Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Passion for culinary excellence and creative innovation.Knowledge of inventory management and food cost control.Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred.
