Created exclusively for Verizon employees and managed by Benchmark/ Pyramid Global Hospitality. VZ-PGH Overview If you love creating awesome food experiences tantalizing every guests tastebuds then we need you! Essential Duties Checks with Sous Chef for daily objectives. Sets up any a la carte stations required for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Ensures all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations established by the chef. Cleans and organizes workstation. Maintains a clean and sanitary culinary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes. Performs banquet and kitchen line functions as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef. Ensures assigned workstation has proper level of par stocks and supplies according to daily menus and banquets. Completes mis en place before start of service. Prepares all sauces, stocks, dressings for the operation in accordance with standards, recipes, and pars. Works clean and remains organized. Understands and complies with all sanitation, health, and safety standards. Reads, understands, and uses BEOs to create prep lists and then execute accordingly. Sets up and breaks down station including cleaning of equipment and proper storage and labeling of unused products. Creative ability to utilize left over product while meeting highest quality and standards. Qualifications 2-3 years restaurant cooking experience Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts Must be able to work flexible shifts Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $24.00/Hr. - $25.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
