Sodexo Government Services has an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager to be part of a growing division. The Chef Manager will lead the food production and inventory management at one of our high-security government contracts in the metropolitan San Antonio Area. There is great satisfaction from serving civilian government and military personnel.
The Chef Manager will report to the general manager and will function as the lead manager in the kitchen and will oversee the inventory management process including ordering, storing, bimonthly inventory counts, and training staff. Inventory management and procurement of food and supplies at the account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company are a top focus for this position.

We are looking Chef Manager candidates who will:
Develops and implements production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, monitors production progress, and make adjustments as needed.Coordinates with vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.Establishes and maintains a safe work environment, including both food and physical safety to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standardsImplements and enforces strict quality control standards and regularly inspects production processes and finished products.Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices and encourage innovation and creativity among the team.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience in food productionHas a strong background in food safety and sanitation complianceHas the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and has a passion for a high level of customer serviceCan demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
The Chef Manager directs all contract management service operations at one unit at a dual location account/unit.
