This Continuing Care Retirement Community is located in the Harrisonburg Metro area in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. What You'll Do oversee daily kitchen operations, to include meal preparations for both menu and buffet style dining; focus on the leading the culinary team and prioritize building Resident relationships;exhibit creativity with both culinary and food repurposing skills; handle food ordering and inventory; andperform functions that include direct supervision of hourly culinary associates including employee development. What You Bring prior 2 years of food service; experience in a senior living environment a plus;prior management experience, with excellent time management and training skills; excellent leadership, time management and communication skills; strong customer service skills to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily.
