Chef (Cook) Casual

Includes some weekend shifts

Primary Responsibilities:Handles and prepares food.Prepares food which is palatable and appetizing in appearanceFollows written menus and recipesUnderstands and prepares therapeutic diets and alternate meal requestsAssumes responsibility for avoiding food wasteSafe food handling and good sanitation practices Prerequisites:At least three (3) years of experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare settingSanitation Certificate from a reputable institution is required (or, must be obtained within first (1st) year of employment
