We are looking for Line Chefs, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs to join our rapidly growing organisation that is passionate about putting our people first.

As a Chef at Civeo, you will bring a positive attitude, team-orientated mindset, a hands-on approach, and take pride in providing excellent service to our guests. Our villages range from 150 to 3000 people, and your passion and experience in bulk cooking will be highly valued.  Our food offering is such a crucial part of our guest experience and we want to have impact on those that live and work in our Villages. 

Permanent positions are available, on a 14:7 (2 weeks living and working onsite, one week off) roster, working 10.5 hour days, and we offer a free bus service to and from Mackay or you can drive yourself to your Village location if you prefer. Our Villages are located in various locations approx 300km from Mackay & 300km from Rockhampton).

About You
To be successful, you will have:

A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent) Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening A National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one Exceptional communication skills Excellent time management skills Remote work experience (highly regarded) Great team player with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure Current Driver’s Licence
