**Job Title: Batch Mixer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batch Mixer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating chemicals, handling raw materials, and ensuring the efficient operation of mixing machinery. This role requires a commitment to safety, precision, and effective communication. **Responsibilities** + Attend daily safety meetings. + Receive and review batch sheets. + Formulate chemicals and weigh out raw materials. + Handle liquids and powders from drums, totes, and bags. + Pour and place materials into reactors. + Check gauges and controls to monitor machinery. + Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Keep detailed and accurate records. + Work with batches up to 4000 gallons. + Monitor running machinery such as pumps, mixers, and milling machines. + Notify maintenance immediately if any problems arise. + Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping and cleaning while machines are running or when batches are completed. + Communicate batch records with the next shift and supervisors. + Work closely with a helper to ensure they understand job duties and safety protocols. + Assist with packaging, staging, and preparing orders as needed. + Fully train under supervisors to become acclimated to the formulating and batch mixing role. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of manufacturing experience. + 3 years of experience in blending, formulating, chemical operating, and batch mixing. + Preferred experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industries over food industries. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility in helping with various tasks such as packaging and staging. + Strong communication skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, precision, and teamwork.
