Chemical Data Analyst

The Chemical Data Analyst provides data sourcing, data engineering and analysis, situation awareness, and decision support.  Utilize data analytics, visualization, and modeling techniques to identify trends and patterns that can help improve chemical business practices. Acquires and analyzes massive data sets to create clear insights for stakeholders to guide business decisions. Identifies emerging trends and creates visualizations that are informative for those seeking to optimize or improve. Functions as a customer service champion by crafting responsive and articulate digital communications and tools. Serves as the leader of innovative ideas in data acquisition, analysis, visualizations and communication. Presents data in a variety of formats ( e.g.pictorial , graphic, verbal, etc.) to clearly and effectively communicate meaningful insights and/or recommendations to diverse audiences in a way that moves them to action. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between data science and business strategy, making them valuable assets in the enterprise. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven insights that align with business objectives. Required Qualifications: + Mastery level proficiency of; Power Bi, Spotfire, MS suite of products (Excel, Powerpoint , Word, OneNote, Teams) and Visualizations. + Thorough understanding of oilfield chemicals and applications. Detailed knowledge of chemical data sets derived from field and laboratory test methods. Demonstrated exemplary level presentation ability.  + Ability to acquire and interpret mass quantities of data and perform statistical analysis of complex/large data sets . + Ability to analyze data sets to identify the meaningful parts that will be used to direct and guide business decisions. + Skilled in interpreting data and communicating insights through meaningful, innovative and unique charts, graphs and tables. + Ability to work closely with key stakeholders to acquire and understand data, ensuring that the information is presented in a way that supports decision-making and strategic initiatives. + Detailed knowledge of chemical data sets derived from field and laboratory test methods with thorough understanding of oilfield chemicals and applications . Relocation Options: Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters. International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
