Now Hiring: Chemical / Mechanical Engineer Actalent is hiring for an exciting opportunity to work onsite at a leading local company, Expectations The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, and startup of various projects at the Henry facility. These projects will include: - Collection, concentration, drying, and packaging of PVC waste streams. - Design of an SIS shortstop system for Line 4 and Line 5 – determine capital requirements for 2025 install - Design of sulfite flow meter system Complies with all Plant safety, health, and environmental requirements. Working with plant personnel, define project requirements, develop design, and follow the Project Management procedures. Select and manage contractors to complete assigned projects. With the plant team provide start-up review (PSSR’s), standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as well as P&ID development for projects Qualifications + BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering + Minimum of 5 years of project experience in a refinery or chemical plant. Knowledge of industry design standards – ASME, ANSI, API Experience managing contractors to complete a project on time and budget.
