Job Title: Chemical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to interface with customers, understand their needs, and develop a scope of work. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions with existing systems to achieve desired outcomes, participating in design validation, and developing process improvement strategies based on laboratory data. Responsibilities + Interface with customers to understand project needs and develop a scope of work. + Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements using existing systems. + Participate in design validation, including pilot plant equipment and laboratory testing. + Design pilot plant test plans, develop processing equipment, and collaborate with technicians and chemists to perform system testing. + Develop process improvement strategies for equipment based on laboratory data. + Perform heat and mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and determine optimal equipment for chemical processes. + Interpret technical data and information to determine proposals and costs. + Manage projects from start to finish, including negotiating pricing and obtaining quotes from vendors. + Prepare material cost estimates for thermal systems. + Provide technical support and information to clients throughout the project lifecycle. Interaction with customers, vendors, engineers, chemists, and lab technicians is required. You will be involved at every level of the organization to develop plans based on the scope of work and validate that systems operate correctly to achieve desired results. Standard shift hours are Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule starting around 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., working 40 to 45 hours per week. Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines or resolve issues. Weekend work is rarely required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
