Job Requirements: + Ability to follow detailed instructions + Strong mathematical and statistical skills + Ability to work independently on a given assignment + Strong competency with computers and Microsoft Office products + Ability to maintain flexibility when dealing with new and changing assignments + Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism Responsibilities: + Ensure the ICP lab is a clean and a safe working environment + Assists in generating test procedures + Preparing chemical solutions to test various materials + Perform ICP and gravimetric analysis on samples + Conduct tests per industry standards and/or customer specification + Generate data summaries and reports requiring basic data analysis + Interface with people in other functional areas + Must comply with all laboratory safety procedures + Maintain compliance with all ISO procedures in work activities Qualifications/ Experience: + Associate degree, Certificate, or two years of college in chemistry, or equivalent wet lab experience, bachelor's degree preferred + Experience preparing chemical solutions and knowledge of wet lab safety practices + Experience in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) a plus If you are interested in being part of a world class company here at Alkegen then we would love to hear from you.
