Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician who will be responsible for performing quality control testing on finished product material and incoming raw material. The role involves running tests such as titrations, refractory index, viscosity, and sand testing, as well as working with instrumentation like an auto titrator, refractive index, and some GC work. The technician will also assist with certificates of analysis and data entry.
ResponsibilitiesConduct quality control testing on finished product material and incoming raw materialPerform tests such as titrations, refractory index, viscosity, and sand testingOperate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including auto titrator, refractive index, and GC equipmentAssist in preparing certificates of analysisEnter and manage data accuratelyEssential SkillsProficiency in chemistry, biology, physics, and lab scienceExperience in titrations, quality control, and sample testingKnowledge of viscosity, refractive index, and gas chromatographyCompetence with laboratory instruments such as Brookfield viscometer and auto titratorAbility to conduct refractory index and sand testingAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or associate’s degree with significant experience in chemical manufacturingStrong attention to detailExcellent team playerWork Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and involves working in the quality lab. The lab environment includes working with various testing instruments and requires adherence to safety protocols.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
