Chemical Operator (2nd shift)

We are seeking a dedicated **Chemical Operator** for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday) to join our Production team. This position is critical for ensuring the safe and efficient production of materials to meet customer demands for quality and quantity. The role involves hands-on involvement with chemical processes, drum filling, and handling, with most work performed outdoors in the yard.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform daily production tasks, including:
+ Pumping waste drums/totes into storage.
+ Preparing drum setups for filling and shipment.
+ Filling drums for customer shipments.
+ Dropping and cleaning wastewater filter presses.
+ Support chemical production processes and maintain familiarity with all plant operations.
+ Learn and operate at least two process areas, such as:
+ Ferric and Ferrous Chloride Etchant.
+ Copper Oxide.
+ Copper Carbonate.
+ Acid and Base Neutralization.
+ Wastewater management.
+ Ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
+ Maintain housekeeping and actively participate in safety programs.
+ Collaborate as a team player and perform manual labor as needed.
**Key Competencies & Requirements**
+ **Education** :
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ **Experience** :
+ Familiarity with chemical and production processes preferred.
+ Previous experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is a plus.
+ Forklift operation and HazMat/DOT experience are desirable.
+ **Skills and Abilities** :
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Organized and detail-oriented.
+ Physically capable of:
+ Lifting up to 50 pounds.
+ Climbing stairs and ladders.
+ Using a respirator.
+ Energetic, alert to surroundings, and eager to contribute.
+ **Additional Requirements** :
+ Must pass a background check, physical, and drug test.
+ Competitive Pay $22-$26 per/hr

**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
