We have an Excellent career opportunity for aChemical Operator to join a leading Company inSanta Fe Springs, CA. Salary: $49,920 - $54,080 Chemical Operators are responsible for safe and efficient production in order to meet customer demands for quality and quantity. Job Responsibilities: Performs jobs to support the daily production needs including : + Pump waste drums/totes into storage + Prepares drum setups for drum filling + Fills drums for shipments + Drops and cleans waste water filter presses + Becomes familiar with all plant operations Maintain Housekeeping + Work safely and actively participate in the safety program + Learn at least two process areas, such as: + Ferric and Ferrous Chloride + Etchant + Copper Oxide + Copper Carbonate + Acid and Base Neutralization + Waste Water + Meet production and quality standards Basic Hiring Criteria: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Familiarity with chemical and production processes + Previous chemical or manufacturing experience is preferred + Working knowledge of computers and office software + HazMat/DOT experience preferred + Forklift Operation Desired Qualifications: + HazMat experience + Handy skills, doing work on their car, construction, operating a forklift.
