Chemical Operator
**IMMEDIATELY HIRING** in the **Conshohocken, PA** area for this manufacturing company looking for experienced **Chemical Operators.** We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Operator responsible for the mixing and blending of materials, paint matching, and the operation of process equipment. The ideal candidate will monitor plant equipment and process conditions using various instruments, gauges, and meters. They will also be responsible for unloading rail cars and tank wagons, operating a forklift to stage materials, and ensuring products are manufactured correctly according to standard manufacturing orders. Prior experience as a Chemical Operator is required along with working in a manufacturing/ production environment and having that strong attention to detail and being able to follow specific instructions when mixing and blending batches. This is a FULL TIME opportunity, reliability will be essential for this role and following the attendance policy. Please review the information below and if interested apply by submitting your resume with the best contact information for us to reach out and speak further about this opportunity and your experience. **Responsibilities** + Mix and blend materials and paint matching. + Operate process equipment and monitor performance using instruments, gauges, and meters. + Unload rail cars and tank wagons. + Operate a forklift to stage materials. + Ensure products are made correctly according to standard manufacturing orders. + Complete production and quality control reporting timely and accurately. + Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. + Perform quality control analysis during manufacturing steps, including drawing samples for laboratory testing. + Follow all safety procedures and act in a safe manner at all times. + Maintain a neat and orderly work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of experience in chemical production, mixing, batching, compounding, granulation batching, and multi-phase batching. + Ability to perform multiple phase small batch by weight accurately. + Experience with granulation in batching processes. + Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, and perform weight conversions. + Knowledge of chemicals, including flammables and other hazardous materials. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work well under minimal supervision. + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to interact well with others. + Proficiency in operating basic hand tools. + Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment. + Capability to perform strenuous and repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, and moving heavy drums weighing 440+ lbs. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
