**Job Title: Chemical Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operator responsible for performing kettle and holding tank washouts, recording raw material requirements, submitting samples for QC testing, and ensuring formula batches meet required specifications. The role involves safely transferring raw materials and formulas, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and adhering to safety and dress code protocols. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to all safety procedures. **Responsibilities** + Perform kettle and holding tank washouts compliant with departmental and formula requirements. + Record raw material requirements, lot/batch numbers, and consumed quantities on required paperwork and container labels. + Submit samples of formula and raw materials to QC for testing and approval. + Ensure formula batches meet required specifications by following Production Order Instructions and procedures. + Safely use pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer raw materials and formulas. + Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. + Wear all applicable PPE and adhere to the Production Floor Employee Dress Code. + Execute housekeeping tasks in Compounding work areas to maintain a safe and clean environment. + Replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors as needed for safe, clean transfers. + Assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps. + Operate forklift and/or pallet jack as needed. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail + Adherence to all safety procedures + Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes + Experience with chemical mixing, compounding, and batch making + Forklift operation skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Chemical experience preferred + Basic math, reading, and writing skills **Why Work Here?** We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with match, HSA contribution, PTO, and vacation time. There are three openings available: 1st shift (Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM) and 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:30PM-7:00AM). Mandatory overtime is required, with 1st shift consistently working until 6:00PM and 3rd shift consistently starting at 8:30PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Na, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
