Job Title: Chemical Operator
Job Description

The Chemical Operator will be responsible for formulation work, mixing batches of chemicals for the scale-up of the product. They will execute a batch schedule, deal with raw materials, and monitor the process. This role requires previous experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing and experience with formulations and mixing batches of chemicals.

ResponsibilitiesPerform operations as described in SOPs and GMPs.Test quality of raw materials through chemical analysis.Conduct experimental batch mixing.Adjust and document experimental batch mixes until the finished product meets specific specifications.Test the quality of products through chemical analysis.Collect and process data for analysis.Sample, inspect, measure, and approve components and chemicals for production usage.Inspect and approve finished products.Verify packaging weights and labeling.Essential SkillsExperience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.Experience with formulations and mixing batches of chemicals.Proficiency in SOPs and GMPs.Chemical analysis skills.Data collection and processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.Work Environment

The role is in a pilot scale manufacturing environment. One position will be for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday). The second position could be either on the first shift (7 AM - 3 PM) or third shift (11 PM - 7 AM).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
